Genie is no longer making the old "tombstone" style remotes.  The Genie GITR-3 Garage Door Remote Control Transmitter is the new and recommended replacement.  Genie had redesigned the "tombstone" style remotes to send out two different frequencies at the same time.  However, the failure rate with these were high and caused Genie to stop manufacturing the "tombstone" style remotes.  The new replacement made by Genie is the brand new GITR-3 three button remote.  Please refer to the technical specs tab section for more information.

This product replaces these parts: ACSCTG Type 1 (shown below), ACSCTG Type 2, ACSCTG Type 3, TBSTG Type 1, TBSTG Type 2, TBSTG Type 3, GIT-1, GIT-2, GIT-3, GIC90-1, GMIC-3BL, GMIC90-3, GIC90-1, GIC90-2, GIC90-3, GMIC-2, G2T-1, G2T-2, G2T-3 and GMIC-2.  Note:  Type 1, 2 and 3 refer to 1, 2 and 3 button remotes.

Important:  Only the far right button (of the three buttons - the 1 dot button) will operate the older Genie Intellicode garage door openers built from 1995 through 1997.  If you have a Genie garage door opener that was built in 1995, 1996 or 1997, this is the only remote that is presently made by Genie to operate the Genie garage door openers built during those years.  As a result, the remotes can only be used as 1 button remotes and no other multi-button Genie garage door opener remote is compatible.
