Stanley stopped making garage door openers back in 1997 when they sold the company. The company that bought then went bankrupt and closed its doors in 2001. Therefore, spare parts can be difficult to find and the warranties are null and void. We do still carry a few original and many more compatible remote controls and keypads. Many of the original Stanley remotes were originally manufactured by the Linear corporation which still has many compatible remotes still available.
Stanley did make garage door openers for other companies so several of the parts are interchangeable. A few of the brands Stanley manufactured operators for include: Vemco, U-Install, Quiet Glide, LightMaker, Home Innovative, Whistler, Popular Mechanics, and SecureCode.
