Refunds
All items except torsion springs and logic and circuit boards have a 30-day money back guarantee unless otherwise noted on the actual products page. If you wish to return an item for refund or exchange it must be done within the 30 days of the purchase date. Please use the Contact Us tab to request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) We make every attempt to assure all customers are satisfied. Below is an overview of our returns policy.
 
Wrong Parts Ordered
Please always double check for the correct make and model on your garage door opener prior to ordering and be sure to select the right part for your garage door or opener. If you are not sure which part to select for your model, please use the Contact Us tab or call us toll-free at 1-877-226-2676 with your question. We are not responsible for your selection of the wrong item. ALL sales are final on our torsion springs as they are made to order and we do not offer any refund or exchange. ALL sales are final on logic and circuit boards. 

Use the Contact us to inform us of the need for an exchange and obtain an RMA number Ship the item back to us with all original materials (parts, packaging, instructions, batteries, etc.), in resalable condition, enclose a copy of the original invoice, and write the RMA number on your shipping label. We suggest you use a shipper with tracking capabilities. Shipping cost for return of the item is at the purchasers' expense. Depending upon the weight of the item additional shipping charges to ship another item back to you may be required. We will let you know when you call for your RMA number. Items returned damaged or with parts missing will not be exchanged and no refund will be issued.
 
Defective Parts
Parts that are defective will be exchanged within 30 days of your purchase date Please use the Contact Us tab to inform us of the defective part and request an exchange.  We will send you the replacement item with a return packet enclosed for you to send the defective part back to us. Ship the part back to stardoorparts.com with all original materials (parts, packaging, instructions, batteries, etc.) in order to receive full credit.
 
Returns for Refund
If you ordered the wrong part and we don't have the part you need or you just decide you don't want the part you ordered you can return it for a refund within 30 days of the purchase date. Items returned to us AFTER 30 days and WITHOUT contacting us will NOT be refunded.

Items being returned for refund must be received by us in original salable condition with all original parts and packing (including batteries, instructions, connectors, screws, etc.).  Definition of new, unaltered and unused condition is that the part will show no signs of wear or damage in any way.  Returns can NOT be a special order item or a custom order.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON LOGIC, SEQUENCERS, CIRCUIT BOARDS AND TORSION SPRINGS.

Full refund, less shipping, handling & restock fee of 15%, will be made by the method you originally used to make your purchase within 7 days of us receiving the merchandise at our facility. For items with "free shipping" the amount of our shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Shipping cost for return of the item is at the purchasers' expense. We always suggest you use a shipper with some form of tracking Items returned damaged or with parts missing will not be refunded. Also, parts marked as "exchange only" on the products page will not be refunded.
