Constructed of 1/16" x 7x19, galvanized steel cable x 26" long.
Cable is manufactured longer than your existing cable, to allow you excess cable for installation and final adjustment, and must be cut to length after installation.
Trim to length after installed in operator, using a cable cutters or a small abrasive cut off wheel.
It will be difficult to shear the cable cleanly, with a standard wire cutters.
Cable assembly includes an attached 3/4" x 3/8", "S" hook, to connect to your existing external iDrive operator emergency disconnect cable & handle.
For removal & replacement on an idrive torquemaster, you will need a 1/8" hex key & small straight blade screwdriver, to loosen the termination clamp set screw.
For the Torsion idrive, you will only need a small straight blade screwdriver to loosen & re-tighten the cable clamp.

You may wish to remove the idrive operator from the garage door for ease of cable installation on a work bench.
Should take about ten minutes to replace the cable assembly.
We do not have the cable clamp or plastic chafe sleeve available.
