This was exactly what I was looking for and the best price I could find. The initial installation of the garage door included attaching a bracket directly to the sheet metal door. Over time, the tension tore the sheet metal causing the door to light about 8 inches and stop. I could help it open if I pulled the door up while using the opener.

This part required minimal drilling and hand tools to install. It fit perfectly and installed in approximately 30 minutes.

The Wayne Dalton Operator bracket I purchased from Star allowed me to quickly and easily repair my garage door and opener.  The bracket that shipped with the opener had pulled the bolts through the garage door support.  Star shipped and I received the new operator bracket in 3 days.  Repair took about 45 minutes.  Thanks Star!

I ordered the part a bit skeptically because I had been told by the local Wayne Dalton dealer that the part was discontinued and I would probable need to have it custom made after a home visit.  Star Door Parts indicated it was in stock and would be shipped right away. I am first time customer and I was pleasantly surprised when I immediately began receiving update on my order. The part was the correct one, it arrived within the same week! I recommend doing business with Star Door Parts!
