The Liftmaster Model 8355 professional line AC motor-head with MyQ technology is a rugged and reliable belt drive replacement garage door power head. Its durable 1/2 HP AC motor combined with an industrial-strength belt drive provides steady performance. This unit will replace any 1/2 HP or 3/4 HP residential belt drive garage door opener head made by Liftmaster, Sears Craftsman or Chamberlain made after 1993.

The Smart Garage Door Opener® lets you electronically program security codes from the Multi-Function Control Panel or the power head Delivers 200 watts of light (dual lights) with adjustable light time delay with non-yellowing hinged light lenses for easy bulb replacement.

Includes: Liftmaster 8355 Premium Series DC Belt Drive with MyQ Technology Garage Door Opener, 882LM wall panel, 1 893LM Security+® Three-Button Remote Control Transmitter and photo eye protection system. The unit does come with 1 transmitter and you can order more as options. This is a power head only and does not come with any belt or rail components.

To install simply loosen your belt assembly enough to disengage from the power head sprocket, disconnect wires, unbolt the old worn out power head from your rail assembly and re-install the new power head in reverse order. Install the included Protector photo eye system and adjust limits and force adjustment according to manual. Your existing transmitters may not work with this system.
