I purchased this part for about $18, including shipping, and within ten minutes had my garage door opener problem fixed. It sure beat paying somebody here locally $135 to do the same thing.

My opener used an older part, but apparently Genie and Overhead Door all use this same part now on their screw-drive openers.

I ordered this part and it was shipped to me immediately, I had it in about 2 days as promised. The part was an exact replacement and I was able to install this in my Opener, without taking the opener down off the ceiling, within 45 minutes and it corrected my problem. Star Door Parts Website and service is excellent and I would recommend them for any one looking for Genie or any other Garage Door Opener parts. The service and shipping were great and the price was right.
